Paintings

My paintings are the continuation of my sculptures, transposed into two dimensions.

They share the same narrative arc, but are delivered from a single vantage point, like a window onto a story. The photo-editing on acrylic creates a striking contrast, while the photo retouching reveals singular paths or illuminates certain areas of the face. The meticulously crafted depth of field plays with perception and puts the narrative into perspective.

Some works are adorned with galvanized chemical cutouts, inclusions of volumetric elements or touches of paint, creating particular stories where matter and image respond to each other.

Each painting is published only once per format, and delivered with its certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing its uniqueness.
